Rocket's Soup

Have you ever heard of "Rocket's Soup? " I didn't either until Dylan created his own Rocket's Soup. Ryan soon participated the cooking activity. I thought it was very strange, but I did give them the privilege to create their own meal.

The recipe for Rocket's Soup:

2 bars of Chedder Cheese
Lots of Young Soypeas in Pods
A Can of Pork Beans
A bowl of water

After they collected the food ingredients, they mixed it together. Everything was ready to eat! Believe it or not, they dared to try it for the first time. Dylan thought it was good, but Ryan and I were chicken to try it.

I later learned that the recipe was coming from the Little Einstein DVD show. Boy, it amazed how much they took it seriously from the show.

Pretty clever cook you've got there. Maybe Dylan should aim for being a star on a cooking channel

Actually it sounds pretty nutritious. I am not sure what size "a bar of cheese" is, but if it is a like a slice, it wouldn't have had much fat. And the other ingredients are good sources of protien.

Huh, well that is one way to get Dylan to try new foods (since he is the picky one). Have him cook everything and he will eat it!

Right on... you have a budding five star chef in your house. You should consider giving him an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas. I understand that Emeril had one and that was where he started with his love of cooking.
